Eternal Law Poem by Haile Tesfaye

Eternal Law

The one that clings to contempt
wounds others, but he that delights
in the truth is an offspring of light.
As clouds pour down equally on the
fertile and infertile fields, rain with
love on the just and unjust. Do not
labour with vengeance, as it knows
no rein.
