Estimating Time Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Estimating Time

Rating: 4.0

Time is identified as what;
periods of increments
continually linked
and bound together in perceptions
of space; infinite seconds,
and unimaginable eons?

Life, leaping into the light,
escaping the dark distances
of what is in matter;
or just what in time, does matter,
that time is not just space;
yet, is it just space sized,
size in mind of finite end,
or time in infinite sized space?

Then estimating a space in time,
and the exact how
of space through time, or
the all together
of space within time, or
the shear mass
of all space in time;
is absolutely absurd!

Timely estimating that,
which is imagined of sized space;
the in of out,
black hole or white hole;
which is it of,
period of, or not periods of;
how can we be sure
of the method, of estimating,
within the feeble mathematics of man?

What horrible despair
the universe does weep for humankind;
as they feebly attempt
to establish domain,
over the one thing
they will never,
under any considerations,
ever conquer.
