Escape Room By Gio Masserati Poem by Gio Masserati

Escape Room By Gio Masserati

I see you look
My eyes turn away
Shy or overwhelmed
By these feelings
For you

Embarrassed
My ego gets in the way

Words fail me
So often around you
I am clumsy in love

I don't know
What to do with my arms
My mouth
Words just tumble out
All jumbled
Like now

Long dark corridor
It's cold in here
Or is it a box?
Escape Room

I have to find the clue
To get to you

A key, a song, a flower
I panic by the hour

Don't leave me outside
The walls of mystery
Please don't leave me
in here

By myself
With only my thoughts

Without you
Near
Or here
Beside me

I'm gone
