Erik Ten Hag's Hard Slog At Manchester United Poem by Saul Kamionsky

Erik Ten Hag's Hard Slog At Manchester United

What's your name?
Erik Ten Hag
The limelight I do not hog
What's your aim?
Take Man United to the top of the game

You can say what you like about me
We've won two trophies
So since I started my United journey,
Only City boasts more trophies

Third place: no complaints
Eighth spot: not hot
But here's my case:

We've had so many injuries
Mistakes from referees
And criticism aplenty

The team has no identity, critics contend
The media aren't my friends
They write fairytales no end

Sack me? No worries
I'll go somewhere else
To win trophies

I told Ronaldo and Sancho to go
Bring in Mainoo and Garnacho
This wasn't by magic though

I'm not Harry Potter
But I know soccer
So why are you calling for Amorim, Southgate or Graham Potter?
