Rating: 5.0

Any day
I might
Stumble and fall
And leave it all
Behind
But darling don't you cry
Cause I lived a lifetime
In the moments
When I held you

Dreams
And money
Lost their charm
When I found you
Nothing else
Seemed to matter
And
That's all I know
To be true

I don't measure
Myself
By anyone else
~Only you

And if these
Moments
Seem lonely
To you
Remember the times
When we shared
Our truth
When we had time
And the angels
All on our side

Time to right
All of the wrong
Time to share
Time to belong
Just
You and me
And our
Precious time alone
Eternally entwined

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Beautifully rendered. A bit passionate, though.5*
