Entertainment Joint Poem by Charles Karia

Entertainment Joint

It starts with a pitcher of wine,
That makes your head go spin.
The music is soft and soothing,
And the lustful ones are winking;
Its like the calm before a storm,
It is a cool bliss as you transform.

Your head is now suddenly astir;
And all you can see is but a blurr.
The scarfaced girl on the sofa,
Now looks luscious from afar,
How you're bold, no longer tame,
Aflame, you walk to ask her name,

Leave while you can still walk,
Before scarface starts her talk.
Lest you buy fire with own coin,
And pour it on your own loin.
The days of regret will be long,
For living your life so wrong.
