"No, never" my soul revolted
and felt angered
at the plight of millions
who were fleeing to other nations

what was their fault?
why the hatred has remained inbuilt?
I was unable to answer
but was seized with anger

the thirst for expansion
and to control the nations
this was what I considered as a logical conclusion
yet, there prevailed the confusion

was not the fanatism on the fore?
that threatened the world at large and therefore
it came as shock to the many
and hence increased the plight and the misery

Some people are responsible for their foolish acts
why should they enter illegally with collusion, in fact,
some may talk about it as a humanitarian problem
but very seriously for others to concern

Blake becie cunnighan.... You can write your poems and letters all you want, but they fall on deaf ears. You just end up the person that points the way to the blind man and calls it a good deed done. Your words blow away in the wind, and lose their forme. There needs to be a voice and action behind it. Stop neglecting yourself and expecting it to help others, you are in need, sometimes you have to be selfish

Blake BeCie Cunningham Sharing the photo doesn't help prevent it, it just upsets others that had nothing to do with it. At the end of the day, breaking the law is breaking the law, and we have many people trying to enter the country illigally. We are a broken nation with are own people starving and in need, you can't help, and love another until you've figured out how to help and love yourself

Blake BeCie Cunningham Everyone wants the blame the people they feel could have helped them and didn't, but doesn't blame the people that pushed them there, or the mother for risking the child's life to begin with. 1 Hide or report this Like · Reply · 6h
