Great poem Dave, very true. It's always wise to be grateful for what you have, because one day it could become what you had. Xx

One who harbours jealousy can never be happy, whereas contentment lies at the root of happiness. Another wise and true write from your pen.

Jealousy is to be blamed when unhappiness creeps in, Just throw out selfishness and see its ones honour and privilege to have a beautiful life... Lovely poem...Enjoyed reading it.

thankful is a noble way to honor the life an evocative poem.. Be thankful for what you have because some people don't have a dime but they don't complain they see life for what it is...... An honour and a privilege love this stanza, so true and inspiring
