As the poet ventures to say, "there is a Buddha in everybody". But we fail to wake Him up, as we keep ourselves busy in other matters, we lesser mortals!

The earth was showered by rays, Sun was smiling to him kindly, Flowers spread fragrance around, Devine wisdom was suddenly ignited, In his mind to higher consciousness. Flowers, sun, earth, wisdom, divinity+ what all thoughts go through your mind dear Suresh. tony

We have ceased to think, we have ceased our meditation. Enlightenment comes from meditation. Without meditation, we have become robots. Congratulations on your poem's selection as the 'Member Poem of the Day'!

Buddha attained enlightenment after a long period of meditation and contemplation. He was fully focussed on is goal of quest for truth. And when it arrived it was like the burst of highest illumination. Like Poet Mahtab says, we, the earth dwellers are far from enlightenment. We are still in the dark groping in ignorance.

Beautiful poem. What Buddha felt and taught or what many before him or after him taught are the true lessons of divinity. However I do think that this road is not pointed but lived, in what ever small way one can travel through it. Congratulations for such a lovely poem.

But what happens to us on earth? Every day we are going through, The same situations unknowingly, But no shades of enlightenment, Why the Buddha in us keep silent? /// we are far away from the lessons of Buddha; we are in our own chosen rules and regulations of life; we are busy in the own sanctioned scripture of religions; enlightenment is not us that's why; congrats for being selected this as POD...5****

we are going through.. The same situations But no.. enlightenment.... //.... Yes, it ls not easy to become a Buddha though we have to encounter similar situations. Everybody is not destined to yell 'Eureka'. They are the special ones. Thanks.
