Endless Magic Poem by Alvin Mingle

Endless Magic

Two passing ships sailing in the night,
They pause, and fleetingly stop, and carry on again.
I thought of all the possibilities.
The dreams and aspirations,
What could have been, but never was,
Then the rains came and stopped.
And the sun begun to shine,
The stars looked brighter,
and twinkled like diamonds in the sky.
I'm glad of the ships that passed in the night
It opened my eyes to the endless magic
Waiting in the wings of life.
