Because of our sheer mindlessness This green Earth is ruined. So many unprecedented occurrences take place in greater frequency and regularity with exactly the scenes you have described above! We have to fear if we are heading into an apocalypse! All these because of our indiscriminate assault on Nature and our sheer mindlessness!

An excellent message within this poem, Amitava. We have polluted, mined, cut down forests, just ruined our own environment, mostly in part by politicians and lobbyists selfishness and greed. We all need to start questioning our politicians and government and the reasons they hide behind their backs for what they're doing, destroying our precious earth.
