A poignant poem of love. Not all we want to be with can reciprocate the feelings we have for them. Very touching.

Meanwhile, Juliet fell asleep while waiting. Romeo of this era no to care about it. This is how loves end......oh! sometimes some desired loves are ended over on half ways; half there is where waiting falls in asleep (subconscious mind): beautifully presented the scenery of half love by delineating the ROMEO and JULIET figures; congrats for being selected as POD

I liked this poem, but was saddened by the rejection and failure to return. Good writing. Thanks for sharing this experience with us.

Very interesting poem. In today’s world easier to give a poetry book than a hour of true companionship. Congratulation on a wonderful member poem.

I do not know if the situation here is developed to a clear satisfaction. I find the writing has a few lines that are a hinder to the flow or smoothness of the story the poem tries to tell; saying this, it is my take only and many may not agree.

'But nonchalant Romeo did not come back' - it goes well with the caption of the poem. Congratulations on your poem's selection as the 'Member Poem of the Day'!
