Susan! What a breathtaking poem. I was enchanted from the beginning to the end. My favorite line for she speaks what the heart holds inside. And another favorite I Sway in the wake of her words. So poetically where did. Enjoyed reading.

I am completely under the spell of this poem, which embodies the voice and gestures of the enchantress who dances with the speaker. There is a strong suggestion by those who know such women that they are dangerous. But the music, dance, perfumed night, beautiful flesh, intoxicating mood all conspire to make me CHOOSE to go the gypsy path. This is another THRESHOLD poem promising even greater wonders and delights. Why would I want to resist such beauty?
