The arduous journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehe has been so touchingly and incisively inscribed here. The cocluding stanza is much impressive. Thanks for sharing.10
The star studded sky suddenly glowed With a rare brilliance never beheld And a celestial voice trailed along Delivering ‘tidings of joy' to the globe around! Simply wonderful.

An impeccable poem on the birth of Infant Jesus! A relevant poem for the ensuing CHRISTMAS. MERRY CHRISTMAS, to you and your familymembers.
Ah! What a poem! Thanks a lot as you wrote a poem on birth of a great person, Jesus, the savior of mankind.I respect him very much.
To my mind the virgin birth is a symbolical story - goodness arising out of purity. A story well told.
A seasonal poem that reminds us of the great infant`s birth. But for his subsequent suffering Jesus`s would have been a different story. Right narration of the sequences, names of the characters recalled and smart rendering are great about this poem. En route to Bethlehem! What next?
this poetess showed own calibre of love to Him Full pregnant, was she with child Mary -the Virgin, suffused with Spirit Holy Divinely ordained to bear the Godly Prince Conceived before, she had known her spouse.
you are all in the Christmas mood! Our Indian Kundhi Devi also should have suffered like this when she was impregnated by the Sun, but she was still spinster when she gave birth. What kind of atrocities she should have gone through in our culture based merciless society! After reading your poem, the above thought simply surfaced, that is why I wrote. As usual this poem is good!
Gaze upon this palace of gold Where a son shall soon be born to us" ! Mary smiled a gentle smile, Humoured by her husband's jest.......feeling of delight in spite of arduous journey is well executed. Beautiful poem that attracts me to read over and over again.
