Empty Words Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Empty Words

Empty Words

Time forgets these dreamers,
Their empty words and dismisses their poetry,

Just as love, faith individually lost to their polar moons of ambiguities and their own weathers,

Opinions are shiftings from right to wrong,
Judges succumbed to bribes and pressure,

And reality floats another moment of truths,

Last night in a shift of moods,
I came upon locked doors,

Voices spilled in the highways of sins, loud clear or silent,
Their echoes losts in the torments of the lights,

Of thisfleetings flesh andthoughts of the yet undead body.

Only death can mastered the poetry of the waste and emptiness.
