Exactly; it is as if, once the temporal furnishings are removed (the flesh and bones, if you will) the house suddenly occupies all possibilities at once, even though it is now empty..but the enlivening spirit has moved on, and the oppressive nature of the resulting vacuum pulls upon our emotions, demands attention with its very lack of some 'something' we realize has disappeared..I never hoped to meet my poetic other-self doppelganger here at PH- but I think you are very close to it, if not the very thing..going to be reading a lot more of you, I can tell!
