The moon that shines so bright ahead The moonlight that my soul and heart it fed Today it numbs my heart Today it splits me apart... very symbolic expressions of a breaking up... relationships. love, lack of trust, breach of trust..... pain, suffering, feelings of betrayal....... so many thoughts came up in my mind as i read your poem. thank you very much dear poet. tony
