Empty Doorway Poem by james watkin

Empty Doorway

What shadows a memory
For an empty doorway!
A more sombre darkness, this side
Of night who exposed has?

Time-blown; where in and back out
What did a home allay
For its lone heart. A ghostly
Processional; alas!
