Verse 1
There's so many emotions that I
Begin amassing as I try talking to
The masses see my love's everlasting
But so many people seem to be
Only masking there came a point in
Time of the poet he thought up the
Words and crafted them into poetry
Unknowingly at the time
Unbeknownst to you and I
I would find the same key within time
And redefine what it's really like
To be divine I know deep down inside
That I'm truly one of a kind
You came to me with a key and I began to
See as you gave me the signs to greatness
Verse 2
I know I talk about my emotions in verbatim
But the feelings I feel about you and everyone
I couldn't ever escape them
Sometimes when I'm angered I hate it
People taking the greatest of poems and
Continuously debate them and not fully
Realizing their greatness
Sometimes I too get lost in the madness
So when I get lost inside the poetry
And all of its vastness
It brings me much sadness when people don't
Fully appreciate the art
As if our art depreciates over time
Verse 3
That's when some crosses the pine
Crossing over the median line
Oh, there goes Gilligan spoken
Like a bunch of Amphibians
But I become like an Reptilian
Breaking all the glass ceilings in
With venomous raging inside of the pen
With skill lately I've been trying to study
Every encyclopedia down to the cyclopedias
While the mass media giving the world
Mass hysteria of people eating processed
Food that's containing Listeria (look it up)
Verse 4
People are still explaining the differences
Of what is considered a fruit and a vegetable
What is it Tomato or Tomata?
Well, in 1893...Horace Gray once said...
None of it truly matters
Only what we're truly after
I've looked throughout our histories
The only time that we've ever seen victories
Are when we the people are truly united
Like the Dawn of the Chevalier (you-knighted)
If you ever find yourself inside darkness
I'll be your chandelier providing enlightenment
Verse 5
There's Richie writing with such grandeur
He wasn't writing like this before
In the beginning I was like an asparagus
Just trying to spare guts
But since then I've been twice cut
But I believe my poetry is pristine
These words are glistening out of their pages
A christening for the ages
That you can't help, but to be amazed by
Verse 6
The face of a revolution sparking up unity
Though through pain came with it
Continuity of relentless resiliency
You can't tell me that you're not feeling me
As I'm spilling out these words therapeutically
As they did for me, but yet some people
Mistakenly still see these words as weaponry
But the power came from within the Nth degree
So their insults won't hinder me
Just know that intentionally or unintentionally
I'm one of the greatest poets of this century
