Embraced By Nature, My First Love Poem by james watkin

Embraced By Nature, My First Love

Letting go this hand, love-warm
For the companionable
I'll not lack, if so able
Its very stamp to feel.

Received into whose presence
Accepts me; as times past.
If beyond your call, wind-bold
As aggreeably heard
For this wooer, voiced for bird.
My heart once did heal.
