Placed just so, in balance
Assuming proper place,
Planets high in order;
For all the human race.
The first, though small, is mighty;
The brains behind it all (Mercury) ,
The second, quite a beauty;
Leads many men to fall (Venus) .
Then, home, where deep communion;
Is all we really need (Earth) ,
And Mars, with strength and energy;
A force for manly deeds.
The young reach out in eagerness;
To grasp for what they can (Jupiter) ,
And old, with ageless wisdom;
Face limits all, of man (Saturn) .
Yet, all of us, seek our own way;
Which leads us here and there (Uranus) ,
And, still we dream and fantasize;
A course that leads us anywhere (Neptune) !
