Elusive Poem by oio ZIGA

Elusive

In somber slumbers, I drift and roam,
Through veiled realms, each fleeting, unknown,
From one dream's clasp to the next's embrace,
But memories elude, leaving no trace.

A phantom's dance, a ghostly ballet,
With each waking, the visions decay,
Like grains of sand in an endless tide,
Lost dreams, like whispers, swiftly hide.

Oh, fickle mind, where do you abide,
In the shadowy realms, where dreams collide?
Forever fleeing from my grasp,
A veil of haze, a misty clasp.

Yet, in this twilight's eerie glow,
The mystery of dreams, I must bestow,
A fleeting glimpse, a passing sigh,
As Thomas Hardy's heart asks why.

In the depths of sleep, a world unknown,
Where lost desires and fears are sown,
But as the dawn breaks through the haze,
The dreams, like smoke, begin to haze.

And so, in waking life's routine,
I ponder what these visions mean,
A riddle wrapped in mystery's art,
As dreams within dreams depart.
