I admit it. I do not like every poem penned. Some poems I really cannot abide. Judgmental of me I know, but the sentimentality of this overwhelms any desire to grieve. I have enjoyed several of Robinson's wittier fare and a couple of her epic tales but she would have been better off not writing this. Sorry. This does not mean that others cannot find worth and value in this piece- I hope they may, in fact.
