Electric Vehicle Poem by Raj Dronamraju

Electric Vehicle

She cried in the electric car
The vehicle did not fit her mental state
It did not feel right to experience a break-up in an electric car

He received notice of his employment termination in the electric car
The dashboard display lit up with exclamation as it cut through the pain
It did not feel right to experience being laid off from work in an electric car

He had no regrets in the electric car
He cleared his throat and turned into an orange
To be peeled by an overlord in daily life

An overlord is presented in a myriad of ways
In an electric car, he was fooled by the future
A shabby little man mistaking new technology for scientific advancement
