Either Black Or Else White Poem by Clive Blake

Either Black Or Else White

Why can't all things be
Either wrong or else right?
Why can't all things be
Either black or else white?

There's white on the one side
And black on the other,
It's the grey in between
Which causes the bother.

Why are penguins clumsy on land
But look in water like dancers?
Why do all answers have questions
But not all questions have answers?

If all fish can swim
Why can't all birds fly?
I wonder, I wonder,
I wonder why!
