Einstein's egg venture, a tale so fine,
A scientist's mishap, oh a hilarious divine.
'Albert dear, when clock strikes 12, boil an egg for you;
Do not be hazy in scientific hue;
I'm off and see you the next day's dusk,
Till then, help yourself with this task.'
Nodded the scientist lost in his theories.
The clock struck 12. Oh it's time for it!
He dashed into the kitchen.
'She said, 'Light the stove, and boil the water, ' '
He waited for the next step, like a lover.
With his Watch in one hand, egg in the other,
The water boiled, furiously strong,
Yes, now, she said to drop 'IT'!
He did no wrong...in his brilliant haze,
He dropped the watch, in a daze.
And watched seriously, as it sank with a fizz,
The egg still in hand, what a whiz!
Oh Einstein, The Master of Space and Time,
But boiling eggs, not quite your prime!
A genius's goof, for preoccupation proof!
