A Thief Stole Money But Not A Heart they loved with a love he thought was deep she was the tramp he was a sneaky thief romance the lady and the tramp was true love the tramp and the thief but a paid liaison; he was a thief he stole money but not a heart she a tramp was love deep paid for a body laid sadly the tramp was a love deep paid for a body laid eventually the thief was caught strung up high; the thief was hung high but the tramp never cried for her love was red wine which was why she laughed she was a tramp sober not drunk spent all her time; twas with the dawning at six in the morning they hung him high at seven without a service they buried his body with no sigh at eight o'clock the tramp drank to a new lover with a drunken laugh; Copyright © Terence George Craddock Inspired by the poem 'Ein Weib' by the poet Heinrich Heine. The Tramp Laughed Drunk All The Red Wine Time the tramp and the thief was not true love the tramp and the thief was but a liaison paid a thief stole money but not a tramp's heart the tramp was a love deep paid for a body laid eventually sadly the thief was caught hung high but the tramp never shed a tear never even cried for her love was red wine which was the reason why she laughed drunk all spent red wine time Copyright © Terence George Craddock Inspired by the poem 'Ein Weib' by the poet Heinrich Heine. Ah the lady and the tramp was true love, the tramp and the thief but a paid liaison, a thief stole money but not a heart, the tramp was a love deep paid for a body laid, but eventually the thief was hung high but the tramp never cried, for her love was red wine which was why she laughed drunk all the time.
