Ego To Devour In 2020

Rating: 5.0

You all are not as young
as I thought you would be.
angels composing silently
such exotic poetry

Just a wee bit exotic slightly
No ego kindly friends love it
You are not as young
as I thought you would be
an angel composing silently
such exotic poetry

The men's hearts will bleed
they dare not compare
with the soul you set free
they will not bend a wee bit

their ego will them alone swallow
when they come to know
that compared to your
love, lust and passion
minus their love
they are seemingly not so hollow

in search of that
imagery red wagon
all now need more
but hold on to your own imagination
some can many swallow

and

the burning fire
once quenched
seeks more
from the same fellow
who enjoyed you in the red
just a wee while ago

Some men are not that shallow
depth is their passion
deep too
as so think
many of you
men do stand
but not still
Holding their EGO
they will

Male authors have more ego compared to their female counter parts. Females out smart men in jealousy. I could be wrong or rather wrong in my concept! Good poem that invites the attention of both men and women. Ego is indeed a let go item 10+

I've seen many poets with a king-size ego who, carry that heavy load where so they go. And ego devours before The man is no more.
