Edina-12

If growth is concious sign of living,
If attaining adolecent is compulsory for every human,
If to beget the children is only warm duty of maids,
If to be framed within limited confine of life and death,
As they derive unnatural pleasure to interpret our existence
In such pattern to tame the unconcious shadows over the wall,
Shadows, that are imperfect forms of men and women,
Having uncanny spiralling and shrinking with whimsy flickering,
That of little candle which make us terrible dancing on the table
Or over the elegant floor or upon the painted roof with uncertain moves.
Oh! these dual forms of heart and soul once created plenty of amorous smoke,
Smoke of illusion when we were in partying mood with countless souls,
Rest of all bothered not being fall flat much before the fire was doused
And we only carried the fire of tinsel joys to our faithful room.
On our next visit on winter eve we found that selfsame dance floor
Packed fully of those vauting ghosts who lost both the shadows and souls.,
Leaving only that perfumed night to carry the message of delighted proud host.
It is improper most to join with these sleeping demons assuming such ugly shapes,
Losing all the glittering apparels and precious ornaments, all belongings to that hungry smoke.
How little our continuous burning cost the time of crematorium host!
Leading our final journey from lap of hope to seething heap of fiery concentration
And we court the hour of final departure in closed eyes but with open mind
With rapt attention which we never had in useful life as ran fast like panicked hare
And scantly curved a meditated hour to know the chapter and verse of life
Ere consumed in grilled dungeon and languished as ashes till the next rain.
