A great sense of release of the spirit. Your use of imagery is very successful. I think this one will have to trot into my favourites' list.

to love the battlefield and bathe in the silent moonlight.- - - - - - - - - - -That is such a unique and poignant image. It is one of the most rewarding perks of writing- -to pen such lines that readers pause and savor and reflect over them. Well, done, Annette, well done. 10

Dream-like evocation of surreal scenery, capturing us with ethereal, silvery images of moonbeams and forest shadows. And here in this place we are left to contemplate the essence of ecstasy as something of which we may partake, rather than the typical expression of ecstasy as a response to internal stimuli. Intriguing and captivating writing, Annette. Another excellent work. :) S
