To be lost
In the depths
Loneliness
And now found
In the arms
Ecstatic
Beatific
Oneness Love
(cont.) ..........oh, god it says for a topic. i wouldn't have guessed it with my first try. God/god(s) is/are good for those who believe. i believe in being in the arms of women, usually one woman, and two arms at a time. but i like the poem well enough. bri ;)
Bri, I'm happy that you like the poem well enough. Under topic, I wasn't going to include God, but I thought that would be a little mean.
(continued) ...BEATIFIC: ˌbēəˈtifik/ adjective adjective: beatific blissfully happy. a beatific smile synonyms: rapturous, joyful, ecstatic, seraphic, blissful, serene, happy, beaming: (continued) ..
beatific? ? i thought beautific, like beauty. but i seem to be WRONG! ! ! here is what i found at a Google selection: According to respected lexicons, “beautific” is not an English word. Noah Volushen, president of the League of English Prescriptivists, says that “anyone who thinks 'beautific' is a word is a mammering, mewling, motley-minded moldwarp.” ........NOW, WHAT IN IS a Prescriptivist? ? Dillip, thank God that there are poets like yourself who don't overanalyse to the extent of fully appreciating the poem. Sincerest THX for that trait and for adding my poem to your favourites!
