Ecological Balance Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Ecological Balance

Law of the emotional bias
Too happy to laugh-
Too angry to make a sense
No solution to problem
Exactly, at the right time
That lies in taking stock
Stock of the situation.

On the road to happiness
Embracing humour
Lending a helping hand-
Faith anchoring the journey
The task is well done-
Line by line, word for word
Penning thoughts and dialogues
A lot of practice and patience.

I'm communicating stories
Of survivals and suicides-
Human distress not coming to an end
Plight of mankind, left behind to fend.

Still, can't make out the difference
How the future can be ours-
Since nature issued an ultimatum
Discovering that everyone has forgotten
Forgetting to maintain ecological balance.
