This is a lovely poem about one of Mother Nature's lovliest natural phenomena an ECLIPSE. V 1 The Sun & Moon have a wonderful relationship like a Groom and his Bride. The Moon is loving and submissive and her Glory shines at night when the Glory of the Sun is veiled. But the Moon's glory is the reflected glory of her Beau the Sun (V 4) . V 2 In Creation God gave the Sun & Moon pecise dimensions and precise locations in the Universe in relation to Planet Earth - which is God's chosen planet in our galaxy. Their dimensions and distance from the Earth ensures that in a TOTAL ECLIPSE the SUN is exactly covered by the MOON. V 3 - This gives the beautiful 'diamond ring' effect as the moon move away from the Sun - which if you witness it stays in your heart for ever. This effect is a sure proof of the betrothal between these two Celestial Bodies. V 5 The Human Race has always had a very high regard for the Sun & Moon which are objects of worship in some religions. V 6 When Man set foot on the Moon in 1969 'One small leap for a Man - one giant leap for Mankind' it did not diminish her Glory but enhanced it. Sceintific research has shown her to be a real Lady - beautiful - powerful - unearthly - elusive - enigmatic. Let us honour two of God's greatest gifts to all of mankind Brother Sun & Sister Moon - 'Today as they meet and kiss once more - exposing heat revealing flames of love - again a promise has not been broken - that tomorrow after a year they meet again'. today as they meet and kiss once more exposing heat revealing flames of love again a promise has not been broken that tomorrow after a year they meet again..................overshadowing is not good it amounts to encroachment but it is natural phenomenon and taking place almost in unspecified timings...lovely scene to observe it from distance....10 read mine, , sun eclipse
