In the moments of what we had

Love that was unbond, wasn't strong
Longing to turn back but feel like I'm wrong
Memories haunt me, like a ghost in my mind
Your smile, your laugh, our moments left behind
I'm searching for solace, a place to unwind
But your absence is a weight that's hard to define

Regret creeps in, like a thief in the night
Stealing what's left of my shattered light
I'm left to wonder, what could've been done
To save our love, to make it whole again

Nostalgia whispers secrets, of what we used to be
A bittersweet reminder, of you and me
