Echoes In The Twilight Poem by Alexander Romanov

Echoes In The Twilight

In desperation's name, I call out loud,
A sigh of lamentation, a recurring shroud.
Spiritual eclipse, closed gateways I face,
In the night, stars watch, a cosmic embrace.

My shadow emerges from the light,
The eye's brilliance in the depths of night.
Over troubled waters, memories soar,
Endlessly searching, forevermore.

Moonlight caresses a lonely hill,
With the calmness of whispers, time stands still.
Naked soul, a face with no disguise,
Streaming water reflects truth in my eyes.

Cold and frost scar my coat with dust,
Eyes locked onto your silent trust.
Through thoughts, we spoke, a silent conversation,
Gazing together, filled with anticipation.

Thirsty hours and the rising sun,
Sunbirds emerge as shadows on the run.
Archways glide as shadows play,
Turn not your face, loneliness in dismay.

In a forest unknown, you reside,
The secret orchard, where voices hide.
Vast and achromatic, your precious tone,
Lullaby of the crescent moon, you're not alone.

Mesmerized by its kaleidoscopic stare,
A hollow gaze, another soul to share.
The Amaranth symbol, kept in secrecy,
Inside a golden shrine, a silent legacy.

Rejoice in the meadow when the end is near,
Walking shadows, ablaze, vanishing fear.
Black rose immortal, a symbol of our fate,
As darkness descends, sealing our state.

Dusk shuffles across the fields so wide,
Evening trees moan, secrets they confide.
At night, in dreams, you reappear,
A haunting echo, ever near.
