I was just reading your poem 'Echo of my Heart' and it is truly beautiful. The cliff edge and the lighthouse of love evoke a dramatic mood. I loved it. I wondered if you would like to read a couple of my poems the first using echo called 'Fading Echo' about my son when a teenager who like most teenagers was very distant at that time. Also my poem 'Fountain of Grief' as that is the loss of someone also as you went through. I would love to share them with you and see what you think. Thanks and God Bless Karin Anderson
Bonnie, This poem is a wonderment - fabulous writing here... just a gorgeous atmosphere you have created. The lines are like platinum... loved it! Best to you always, Robert
This poem is astounding. It seems like there is only half a metaphor in the knowledge of walking away from one another, the presence of that lonely parting, and yet that only leaves the poem more open and more human.
A very beautiful poem Bonnie, lovely descriptive qualities. Love, Andrew x
The mellifluously smoothe flow of this poem, is virtually tranquilizing....Beautiful mastery of ambiance employment....as your select choice of vernacular, places the reader in that lighthouse...in your echo....and within its aural dance.Excellent Work, lass! ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
