Amazing free verse and so rich with color and emotion. I just loved the ending, Shunned by love, you remain Immortal as the hidden mirror of sound. So will this poem be- immortal.
Thanks for that wonderful comment, without lovely readers of poetry like you, it would never be possible.

Thanks for this excellent poetic work based on a story from Greek Mythology. The narrative and the style is quite simple and easy to grasp. Thanks a lot, Govind.
Am glad you liked it Rajnish, tried to keep the poem simple.
I had no idea about the origin of where echo comes from. Now I do. And so beautifully done through a vivid poem that captured my heart. This is where poetry is so much better than prose. You distill this down to the essence. One of your best!
You are most welcome and thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my poem
True poetic jewel on a topic that many would consider boring. Your words bring life to Hera and your metaphors make this a master art piece.
Motivating words Jenny, but i found the topic actually exciting!
Very special poem dusted with imagery and metaphors that are truly special. Loved every word of it.
Thank you Sir, i tried to create an ethereal quality to Hera through these metaphors.
Simply beautiful poem that brings the myth of Hera and the source of echo to light. Loved this poem.
It is said that after Echo turned to stone, all that remained was her voice....But the goddess is truly alive in this verse. A great poem.
Thanks you for your wonderful comment, you know your greek mythology for sure.
I had a parrot cursed in the same manner. Lovely poem, Govind :)
Ha ha ha... thanks Neal, hopefully not for repeating something that the parrot should not have.
