Intriguing story. Yes, I can visualize the eccentric pottering about, germinating rumors in all of his odd doings. I like how you create a diversion in the last two lines that suggests some of this may be intentional. It opens up new, unspoken plot lines to consider. Congratulations on POD!

I really liked it Amanda. I think it's interesting (hopefully I understood it right) that he was aware of the rumors about himself and was somehow 'enjoying' it. Very good poem. Sincerely, Mary

I had to read 2 times, i like the poem, the good parts are, his vision was a happy pill, great line, some of the other parts im not sure about, but its works..
