Earthsong Poem by Panagiota Romios

Earthsong

We live, we walk upon you each day.
We love the freshness of new mown hay.

From your deep soil, flowers sprout,
We smell theit fragrance and with joy we shout!

Trees bearing fruits, are our blessed delights.
Plus trees that extend fingers to the stars at night.

Insects of all kinds within you crawl and do live.
Rain falls upon you, you act like a sieve.

Sheep, cows, lambs, upon you eat and run.
God"s creatures, great and small, under your sun.

You are our soul's verdant, eternal harmony,
Ever growing, forever thankful to thee are we!

A nice poem on the beauty and all the beings that have taken births in this earth. Nice rhyming and flow. Thanks for sharing.
