Earth's Heartbeat Poem by james watkin

Earth's Heartbeat

For its heartbeat, beneath
Grassed drowse, from under
Guess I, through looks beguiled
What's felt of girl-child.

A love, sympathetic
Softest dreams of love
To what bless'ed gives rise!
As bright butterfly's!

Soothing, gently soothing.
Rhythmic seas beside.
Afloat above, dreamy
Albatross, gleamy.
