it's not the earth that does all this.he is God.it's Gods will.he wants to test peoples loyalty to him when they are afflicted.they must then ask God to help them.he also wants them to be patient when they are afflicted because after every affliction there is always happiness and tranquility.the quran says: (Allah made from every sadness, happiness.) ...and...(Allah loves the patient people) ...a nice poem why didn't you post it in 2005? thanks for sharing.

Let the heaven send us peace and strength to help those suffering Let us pray today for those who died and got injured Let us pray God to make this world the peace of heavenly blessings --------- these are the lines that we must do, instead of sighs. Thank you for inviting me me. A nice message

Yea I agree with Chitra, a deep cry and supplication for God.. I don't think the mother nature is cruel, may be this is a warning from God to the whole world...the human beings are not perfect -I know-, but they have mind to think! and the bad humans destroyed a big part from the nature, so may be this is the reaction of the nature...All I can say is 'God help and forgive us and send your mercy upon us..' Great poem...Merna
