Compulsion set aside for sober reflection. A poignant piece of poetry written in heightened poetic diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing.

The weight of ages hungs heavy over the beginning of this poem, yet the universal themes are past present future, then now tomorrow are one, we meet in the laws of God and time; born into the fears of life death struggled through into mortality immortality eternity, knowledge ignorance pale into splintered or focused pin points of perception, we are raised up by the realization that all life is sacred, salvation may be blessed chaliced damned by laws or social judgements of society; but ultimately we realize no laws are greater than love, the bliss of knowing compassion forgiveness kindness humility honour justice are all aspects of the sustaining nurturing sacred power of love freely given.10+++ enjoyed and saved :)

By this poem you try to take one to the beginning of world life itself! Thinking in the classical line is something quite interesting ever, it seems!

A salute to womanhood. The woman has awakened to the world, like never before.

Beautiful and powerful free verse with carefully chosen vocabulary. The expression Mitre of Thorns is a dualist philosophical point of view, that indicates the role of the woman-mother, and her sacred sacrificial role in life. The penultimate stanza is the culmination of the poem's theme, glorifying the nature and wisdom of the female nature. An excellent poem, written by Elysabeth.

Your earthwoman is superb as she strides passionately through the words of this magnificent poem about power and meaning and the truth of Eden Her way is nurturing not confrontationalist and offers love, not control. Superbly written piece to be read and re-read. love, Allie xxxx
