I gaze upon you, Earth Angel
Laying peacefully on my lap
I have stroke your hair the hundredth time
And smiled to myself thinking out loud
I wish this moment was forever
I thought I'd loved before I met you
But nothing about this feels deja vu
I have never had so much feeling in my heart
For any, close to these waves of love for you
I want this to last forever, today and years after
As I take up this duty to be your friend and lover
And show you that love can be felt and held
None can ever fill this room now yours
So rest safely in the embrace of my love
When you wake up, I am here to love you on!
