Bhaswat If the Mother earth would hear the language we speak, see the activity on her lap i would tell her to sense the following lines first; Mother, do you cry for the modern man? You precocious yet short sighted child Developments of all sorts he would plan At any obstacle, he is riled Good art.10++

This piece is well written. It comes out from the heart, love and dedication of mother earth is all there. This piece points out what man and beast have done to earth's environment and yet she (earth) remains quiet until her patience runs out and releases her fury and vengeance. A good one indeed.

This is excellent poetry and I love how you personify Mother Earth and ask her such pertinent questions. The last two lines give it a great unexpected bite of malice to add to the power of the poem. 10 love Karin

Brilliant exposé.It has to be said that man is his own worst enemy. He destroys his own future. You have only to think of nuclear power and it makes you think about the meaning of intelligence i.e intelligence used to self destroy.Climate change was never factored into massive industrial and technological development.
