For too long man has, to avarice subscribe Hastening all to the brink of ecocide Yet nature will in time, to her ills prescribe But mortal man does not have time on his side Your peek at the future is so very clear, Thank you Bharati

Both of your earth poems are really beautiful. What we are doing to our climate and the way it is effecting our earth is a crime for which the punishment would be given to all of earth's habitant alike. Your poems do a great service in raising the awareness for this most pressing problem. Really where will we all be?

Exactly before this happens, lets wake up. A great message to the reader by painting a grim picture which might result from the man's blunders and tampering with nature. A10

The closing gave me the worst case of shivers ever. That was strong, horrifying, and unfortunately so very possible. A valuable poem and written exactly right. A 10 for sure

Thank you, Sir, for reading and giving your valuable comments. If the rich and developed nations really care for our Planet, should come together to frame laws for protection of environment and implement them in right earnest.

Dear Bharati, thank you so much for creating awareness, with such a wonderful penning, yes indeed, this is the time for change, we really need to live in harmony with nature, first step is being aware of all the harm we do.

dear poetess, all these things are here on earth, no colors for blind, no blue sea for a worker doing weird job in the basement of a grand ship.... so if I am also a such kind of man, I need a thing friendship. true and honest bonds to live a life. your poem is sensitive and caring. what we mean in literature the word 'nature' I feel you are closer to it. nice poem

Thank you Muhammad Ali for your nice comment.Yes, I agree.these things are there- -no colors for a blind or no blue sea for a worker doing weird job in the basement of a grand ship. What matters is our sensitiveness to people and surroundings around us.If we don't feel the pain of a fellow human being, if we treat this earth cruelly, plundering her wealth or poisoning the atmosphere, what we get is only darkness.

how many trees we watered how many birds we fed and how much we consumed from her stomach and we cry for more and she subsides all to feed us- earth can be compared to a women who she gives all for her children without expectation - nice theme

Yes, Mother Earth is giving us every thing. In our knowledge so far, She is the only planet sustaining life..And we are so careless about her woes ! !

Thank you Seema Chowdhury.I have read your poems which show your concern for humanity. It is that sensitiveness toward other human beings or our surroundings that bring us together and voice our common concern.

right, Kelly.. and Trump's denying of climate changes is one (the major, indeed) of the reasons of my choosing this topic for the book 'Poetry for Our Planet'.. BTW: where's your poem for the collection..? ;)

Climate change is a critical issue before human civilization. Our earth is in real danger. Now climate is changing rapidly.in my State, Summer season is extending. Many people die of heatwaves. The rich and developed Nations should be more responsible and work toward protection of environment.
