Earnest Request Of A Divergent Poem by SRIRANJI ARATISANKAR

Earnest Request Of A Divergent

Rating: 5.0

Prepared seed-bed myself
Removing weeds, shrubs and bushes
sowed seed myself.

Newly sprouted tender sapling
keeping abreast of the wind.

Now I have another duty to glorify
the glowing stone of the west-tomb.

Earnest request of a divergent:
‘Water the plant.'
‘Fence the plant.'
‘Manure the plant.'
‘Let the wind blow easily.'
‘Let the sun shine freely.'
