Each Dog Has Price
Each dog has price tag
No country lags behind
Corruption is rampant
It was before and now at present too
If you are civil servant in government
Children may get job easily and become permanent
The person from urban area suffers
Even if he is intelligent and so much to offer
Election is rigged and post is occupied
Lot many promises are made openly and lied
Public is aware of such situation
But tolerate its continuation
Where will you find corruption free environment?
No where, if I presume and think for moment
Even justice is sold and judgment is cleared
The poor and innocent’s life is feared
System is divided into cast, creed and religion
People’s representatives divide into more regions
Language, customs and usages are represented as an excuse
Power is confronted and subjected to misuse
Religious sentiments are aroused
People’s attention is diverted and focused
Criminals get open support for candidature
Now think of society and country’s future?
What will be the role of parliament?
What kind role they may have with popular movement?
Even questions are raised in exchange of payment
Everybody has price tag in his neck at present
Andy Morley I felt like posting an image of cooked dog in response to this, as it's a delicacy in some parts of the world. As they're rather gruesome to the Western eye, I refrained, but dogs certainly do have a price tag, whether as pets and companions, cooked as a meal on a restaurant plate, or in the extreme instances as reported in news stories, as live bait in shark fishing.
