As I live each day
As I listen to each hour pass away,
May I make a difference in some way
Unto God I sincerely pray.
No matter how small that difference might be be
It truly does matter to me,
Into my soul I want others to see
I do it for free.
I want to touch someone's heart
As shoppers touch vegetables and fruits in a cart,
Either before or after that we part
I wish them to always remember when their joy did start.
I want them to be hopeful and glad
And not angry, depressed, hurt or sad,
Not hating or judging or mad
I want them to see and feel as I had.
I what them to feel the way that I feel
And I want to help them heal,
I wish only to do God's mighty will
And I want them to realize it's all real.
I hope to bring them smiles and laughter
On this day and the day after,
Then them knowing not allowing hurt to become their master
Then hopefully we will meet in the hereafter.
In many days or years from now
Maybe when they raise their caring brow,
They will remember the kindnesses and how
When forgiveness in their soul, they did allow.
One day they will walk down life's path
And when they do, I want them to joke and laugh,
Maybe they will read my own epitaph
And then smile, on my behalf.
An angel gets its wings when a bell does ring
And I would want them to joyfully sing,
As presents are given to the one king
From the gifts that we all do bring.
When I wake up each and every mourning
I always awaken to a warning,
I look for a new and a happy spiritual aborning
As I hope to lift someone's spirit from mourning.
In life we all are given a gracious role
As upon earth and into other lives we all stroll,
Each day I have an ultimate goal
To bring joy, kindness and happiness into someone's soul.
