Dylan Thomas Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Dylan Thomas

(Died from alcohol abuse)

Welsh genius who took the short hard way
Mimed the drunken clown to amuse
Played the whisky poet to perfection.

Fearing his muse was lost
He let alcohol console
Soaking his imagination asunder.
