Eyes averted, gaze unfixed,
A silent nod to wrongs that mixed.
Believing sight, yet blind within,
You feed the beast where dark sins spin.
Power unbound, a raven's greed,
Devours the trust, a vital seed.
Not just the laws, but hearts laid bare,
Leaving dark shadows of despair.
When trust is gone, a fragile thread,
Democracy sleeps, almost dead.
A gentle whisper, then a fall,
Unnoticed by us, by one and all.
Truth needs no shout, no booming sound,
But courage planted in the ground.
To face the giants, stand upright,
And banish shadows with its light.
In power's face, do not be still,
Loyalty's echo lacks the will.
Responsibility's the truest test,
To speak the truth, and do your best.
